Employment Planning & Counselling is an Employment Ontario funded employment service provider focused on diversity and sustainable employment in our community. Our dedicated team of Job Developers work closely with local employers to understand exactly what they’re looking for when it comes to hiring and maintaining staff. The best part – these services are FREE!
Who can access these services?
Employers may be eligible for Employer Services if they are an employer licensed to operate in Ontario and providing employment in Ontario.
We Offer:
Job Matching & Placement Services
We understand that the cost of hiring and training a new employee is substantial. Our goal is to provide quality candidates while supporting employers to invest in training for long-term retention. Eligible employers may be able to receive a wage subsidy to offset the cost of training a new employee.
Recruitment & Applicant Pre-Screening
Online job postings have the potential to bring in more applications than you have time to process. By connecting with our Job Developers, you have the opportunity to discuss the candidate(s) you’re looking for and have the applications sent directly to the Job Developer you’re working with. We’ll screen the applications and narrow down the hiring pool for you!
Interview Assistance
Are you looking for assistance interviewing candidates? Whether you need physical space to hold the interviews, or would like support interviewing candidates, let us help you. Connect with one of our Job Developers to discuss the support you’re looking for.
Job Fairs
With a proven track record of great attendance and hiring success, we’re ready to help you plan and execute your next job fair. Located in downtown Peterborough, we offer an accessible location for you to meet a diverse group of candidates to fulfill your hiring needs.
Aptitude & MBTI Assessment
These assessments can assist in recruitment and selection of new employees as well as develop individuals and leaders, and improve teamwork.
Online Job Postings & Digital Marketing
Our online job board offers guaranteed visibility and is accessed by hundreds of job seekers every week. Each week, our clients receive a job list to their email with positions from EPC’s employers.
