EPC has an ongoing partnership with Canadian Red Cross, allowing us to host TWO different types of First Aid training each month.

Emergency First Aid / AED / CPR “C” – One-Day Course
Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Canadian Red Cross Certification: Valid for 3 years
Course Content:
- The Red Cross – The First Aider’s Role
- Preparing to respond
- The EMS system
- Check, Call, Care
- Airway emergencies
- Breathing and Circulation emergencies
- First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Wound care
- Choking – child & baby
- CPR – child & baby
- Includes opioid poisoning awareness information
Non-Client Cost: $98

Emergency First Aid / AED / CPR “C” – Two-Day Course
There are now TWO ways to complete the Standard First Aid course!
Blended Learning:
- Step 1 – Work at your own pace to complete online training modules
(must be completed at least 24 hours before attending in-person training.) - Step 2 – Attend the second day of training, in person at EPC.
This comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
In Person: Attend two days of in-person First Aid training at EPC.
Canadian Red Cross Certification: Valid for 3 years
